Privacy notice
Last updated 5 September 2026
This notice explains what personal information JadeiteXTR collects when you use our website and readiness check, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
JadeiteXTR SME Export & Finance Growth Hub Ltd ("JadeiteXTR", "we", "us") is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17344573, with our registered office at 160 Mansfield Road, Derby, DE1 3RA. You can contact us about privacy at jadeitextr@gmail.com.
What we collect
We collect information in three ways.
- Details you type into our sign-up form: your name, business name, email address, sector and role.
- Answers to the readiness diagnostic, if you ask for a full report or join the pilot. The free check runs in your browser and we do not receive your answers unless you choose to send them to us.
- Technical information collected automatically by our hosting provider, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
We do not collect financial account numbers, card details or identity documents through the website.
Why we use it
- To run your diagnostic and produce your report. This is necessary to provide the service you asked for.
- To contact you about the pilot programme, your report and follow-up support. We rely on our legitimate interest in running the pilot, and you can opt out at any time.
- To send you occasional news about courses and membership, only if you have agreed to it. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
- To improve the diagnostic. We use anonymised, aggregated results that cannot identify you or your business.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping business records.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that host our website, store form submissions and send our email, such as Netlify, which hosts the website and receives form submissions, and Google, which provides our email. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes.
- Advisers who review your report, under a confidentiality agreement.
- Funding-matching partners, only if you ask us to refer you and agree to the referral.
- Regulators, courts or law enforcement where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Some of our providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up details and diagnostic answers for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. Reports produced during the pilot are kept for the same period. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information
- stop or limit how we use it
- send your information to you or another provider in a usable format
- stop sending you marketing
To use any of these rights, email jadeitextr@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your information has been misused.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top.
